FAQ

Is a full motion TV mount worth it?

A full motion TV mount is an excellent choice if you like to have plenty of options. Whether looking to view your TV from an adjoining room or wanting better to adjust the position for the best possible viewing, this might be for you. The full motion TV mount provides the most versatility due to its multiple pivot points which allow you to extend, tilt, swivel, and even rotate your TV. This is especially helpful if you want to mount your TV in a corner or recessed space, which, when extended, can give off a “floating TV” effect.

How high should a 55 inch TV be wall mounted?

A 55” TV should be around 61 inches from the floor to the center of the TV screen.

Do you need 2 people to mount a tv on a wall?

One person can install the mounting bracket if you have the right tools. But hanging the TV on the mount usually requires two people.

How do I hide the TV cords on a wall mount?

There are two main ways to hide TV cords on a wall mount: putting them behind the wall or covering them with a cable raceway. Putting them behind the wall involves cutting holes in the sheetrock and dropping the cords through the wall. This method is easy and effective, but it may have some drawbacks depending on the wall structure and electrical codes. Covering them with a cable raceway involves attaching a flat PVC cover to the wall with adhesive or screws and laying the cords inside the channel. This method is simpler and safer, but it may not look as neat as hiding them behind the wall. The cable raceway can be painted to match the wall or the molding to disguise and hide the wires.
