What is Ontech?

OnTech is an authorized Starlink installation partner. We specialize in professional, hassle-free setups designed to get your Starlink high-speed internet running at peak performance.

When will my technician arrive?

On the morning of your appointment, we’ll send you an email with the subject: "Your OnTech appointment is today." Inside, you’ll find a personal link to our Where’s My Tech tool. Just click that link to see exactly where your tech is and get a more precise arrival time as they head your way.

We value your time and will provide multiple updates:

  1. A confirmation email will be sent summarizing your appointment details once it is scheduled.
  2. A reminder email with appointment details will be sent 24hrs. before your scheduled installation.
  3. A day-of reminder email with appointment details will be sent the morning of scheduled installation.
  4. An en-route reminder email with appointment details will be sent one hour before our technician’s estimated arrival.

Note: Please ensure you have your Starlink kit on-site and your account credentials listed in email communications ready before the technician arrives. If you have not received your Starlink equipment, please reschedule your appointment by logging in to your OnTech account or contact OnTech Customer Support at 844-800-7332.

Is Starlink Installation by OnTech available in my area?

Yes. OnTech provides Starlink installation services nationwide across the USA, covering every zip code in the lower 48 states, Hawaii, and Alaska . Additional fees may apply in Alaska and Hawaii.

What is Included in a standard Starlink installation?

  • A trained technician selecting the optimal dish location for signal.
  • Mounting the Dish.
  • Routing the cable from the dish to the interior Starlink modem.
  • Connecting and powering the included router.
  • System activation, performance testing, and a Starlink app walkthrough.

What is OnTech’s cancellation and rescheduling policy?

You can modify or cancel your order by contacting OnTech Customer Support at least 24 hours ahead of your appointment at 844-800-7332. To reschedule, visit your Account page, go to My Orders, and select Reschedule Service.

What are OnTech’s hours of operation?

Our technicians perform Starlink installations seven days a week, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm local time. Our Starlink customer service specialists are available seven days a week, from 6am to 10pm MST at 844-800-7332.

Does OnTech offer a warranty on Starlink installations?

We provide a 90-day workmanship warranty on Starlink installation service(s) following the installation date. In the event you (i) notify OnTech of a defect in workmanship of services within 90 days of the installation date and (ii) we confirm the existence of such defect of workmanship, we will correct such defect.

This service warranty: (a) does not apply to any defects resulting, in whole or in part, from your or third-party acts or omissions (including, without limitation, abuse or misuse of the products or devices); (b) does not apply to any products or devices (including, without limitation, any defects in the products or devices); and (c) is non-transferable.

Note: This warranty covers our labor and mounting; it does not cover Starlink hardware failure or service interruptions caused by the Starlink satellite network or obstructions.

Can I make changes to my appointment?

Once your Starlink installation is scheduled, you may make service changes or cancellations by contacting OnTech Customer Support at 844-800-7332. To reschedule your service, please go to your Account page and under My Orders, click on Reschedule Service and choose your new date and time.

How skilled are OnTech technicians?

OnTech technicians are experts in satellite & internet technology. They undergo extensive Starlink-specific training, including optimal dish placement for line-of-sight and professional cable management.

How do you verify your techs?

All in-home technicians must pass a thorough background check which includes driving records and drug screen.

Can I arrange additional services with my technician?

Yes. Your OnTech technician can provide a quote for specialized add-ons during your appointment. These can be completed during the same visit.

Cable Wall Fish: For a premium, "invisible" look where cables are routed inside interior walls.
Device Connectivity: Seamless connectivity between existing devices (phones, TVs, laptops) and your new Starlink network.
