What is OnTech?
At OnTech, we pride ourselves in helping you achieve the smart home of your dreams. We offer professional, hassle-free installation plus product mastery via face-to-face instruction on all your smart home devices.
How do I schedule a service?
First, add the appropriate installation service(s) to your shopping cart. Next, select your preferred day and time of appointment based on current availability, which may include next-day or sometimes even same-day appointments.
When will my technician arrive?
Prior to your scheduled service appointment, OnTech will contact you: (i) the day before your service appointment and (ii) one hour before the estimated arrival time of your technician.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Once your order is placed, you may only make service changes, service appointment changes or cancellations by phone at 1-833-ONTECH2.
For service cancellations or to reschedule your appointment, please contact us at least 12 hours prior to your appointment. If you fail to cancel your appointment prior to OnTech’s arrival or if no adult is present at the service location, you may be charged a $35 “Failed Service Appointment Fee” to the payment information on file.
Is OnTech available in my area?
OnTech is available nationwide, covering every U.S. zip code, including Alaska and Hawaii.
What are your hours?
OnTech offers in-home service appointments seven days a week, from 8:00am-6:00pm daily, except during national holidays. OnTech also offers 24/7 technical support via phone at 1-833-ONTECH2 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Is my service guaranteed?
We provide a 60-day workmanship warranty on all service(s) following the installation date. In the event you (i) notify OnTech of a defect in workmanship of services within 60 days of the installation date and (ii) we confirm the existence of such defect of workmanship, we will correct such defect.
This service warranty: (a) does not apply to any defects resulting, in whole or in part, from your or third-party acts or omissions (including, without limitation, abuse or misuse of the products or devices); (b) does not apply to any products or devices (including, without limitation, any defects in the products or devices); and (c) is non-transferable.
How do I get help?
OnTech offers 24/7 technical support via phone and email. In the event OnTech is unable to solve a technical problem regarding services over the phone, you may request a technician visit. We may charge a fee for such visit if the services are not covered by the service warranty. For technical support or to notify OnTech of a defect in workmanship of services, please contact us at 1-833-ONTECH2 or email@example.com.

Plus, all in-home technicians must pass a thorough background check which includes driving records and drug screen.

Can I arrange additional services with my technician?
Yes, your OnTech technician can quote additional services during your appointment, which typically can be completed during the same visit, time allowing.
Can I book the same technician for future visits?
We can accommodate some requests, but please note some of our techs are experts in different areas. As such, we want to ensure we send the right tech for the service requested.
How do you price your services?
OnTech services are based on a fixed price. If additional work is required outside the scope of “What’s Included” in the service, the technician can assess the work and quote the additional cost, as applicable.

Google Nest Protect Wired Installation
1 If your Google Nest smart device requires additional non-standard add-ons (e.g. required doorbell transformer, deadbolt replacement, door frame modification, etc.) the technician will assess the work and quote the additional cost.
How am I billed for service?
OnTech will charge your preferred payment method on file when you click “Place Order.” If you request and approve additional services during your appointment, your OnTech technician will take payment at that time.
